TERMS & CONDITIONS

Registered users may place orders for Goods, which Hydraulics may accept or reject. Whether or not Hydraulics accepts an order depends on the availability of Goods, correctness of the information relating to the Goods and receipt of payment or payment authorisation by Hydraulics for the Goods.

Orders may not be cancelled after receipt of payment of the Goods by Hydraulics.

You acknowledge that stock of all Goods on offer is limited. In the case of Goods for sale by Hydraulics, Hydraulics will take all reasonable efforts to monitor stock levels and ensure that when stock is no longer available, that offers thereof are discontinued on the Website. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of stock. When Goods are no longer available after placing an order, Hydraulics will notify you and you will be entitled to a refund or credit of the amount paid by you for such Goods.

We shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately reflect the description, availability, purchase price and delivery charges of Goods on the Website. However, should there be any errors of whatsoever nature on the Website, we shall not be liable for any loss, claim or expense relating to a transaction based on any error, save – in the case of any incorrect purchase price – to the extent of refunding you for any amount already paid, or otherwise as set out in the Returns Policy.

The use of the Website is entirely at your own risk and you assume full responsibility for any risk or loss resulting from use of the Website or reliance on any information on the Website.

RETURN POLICY

To log a return or size exchange for an online order, please contact us at info@hydraulicsstores.co.za and include your online order number.
Please note that returns and exchanges are handled differently depending on whether the request is for:

  • an exchange for a different size of the same style, or
  • a return for credit to select a different item.
EXCHANGE PROCESS

If you would like to exchange your item for a different size in the same style:

  • We will first confirm whether the item qualifies for exchange.
  • A transport fee of R300 will be payable for the exchange process.
  • Once the transport payment has been received, we will arrange collection of the item.
  • The replacement item will only be dispatched once the returned item has been received back at our warehouse.
  • Once received, the exchanged size will be sent back to you.

Please note that turnaround times may vary depending on your area or the successful collection of the product.

If the requested size sells out while the item is being returned to us, we will instead issue you with a credit for the item, including any unused transport fees that were paid for the exchange.

RETURN PROCESS

If you would prefer to return the item and select a different product instead:

  • We will first confirm whether the item qualifies for return.
  • Collection can be arranged either from the original delivery address or an alternative address provided by the customer.
  • Once the item has been returned to us, a transport fee of R150 will be deducted from the credit issued.

The remaining balance will then be issued either:

  • as an online coupon to shop on our website, or
  • as a store credit to shop in-store.

Please note that certain sale items may not qualify for return and may therefore be rejected in line with our returns policy.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS due to hygienic concerns

For hygiene reasons, we unfortunately do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds on:

  • swimsuits
  • earrings
  • underwear

CONDITIONS FOR EXCHANGE:

• The product must be undamaged and unused.

• Original labels and stickers must still be attached.

• The product must be returned in its original undamaged packaging.

• All seals must be intact (if applicable).

• The product must include all accessories and parts.

CHANGES TO ONLINE ORDERS

Please note that once an online order has been placed, no changes can be made to the order details or the item(s) purchased.
This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Item changes (e.g. shoe size, colour, or style)
  • Delivery address changes
  • Contact details such as cellphone numbers or email addresses

As an example, if a customer accidentally the incorrect size shoe, we are unable to change the size before dispatch. The order will be processed and delivered as placed.

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all order details are accurate and correct before completing checkout. Hydraulics cannot be held liable for errors made during the ordering process.

Updating customer details

Customers are able to update their personal details at any time by logging into their Hydraulics online account.
If your information has changed, such as your cellphone number, email address, or other personal details, please ensure these are updated directly on your profile before placing a new order.
Please note that updating your account details after an order has been placed will not apply to that order, as order information is locked at checkout. Hydraulics cannot amend order details once an order has been submitted, and customers are responsible for ensuring that their account information is up to date prior to completing a purchase.

REFUNDS

No refunds are available for full-priced items. However, you can opt for a size exchange if an item doesn't fit or receive a coupon for in-store or online use.

DELIVERY OF GOODS

Hydraulics offers one method of delivery of Goods to you, which is via courier.

Timeframe for delivery

Expected delivery time is entirely based on the location of the delivery address and may take up to 10 working days.
Delivery services do not take place over weekends. It must also be noted that orders made on Thursday may delay until the next week.
This also applies for specials offered on the website (for example: orders made on Black Friday will only be processed the following week)

Delayed delivery

If your order has taken longer than 10 working days and you have not received any communication about an issue with your order, please email info@hydraulicsstores.co.zawith your order number for assistance.
No refunds are offered due to late delivery.

DAMAGES

Damaged Goods Return Policy

Damaged goods may be returned within a period of three (3) months from the date of purchase, provided they meet the criteria outlined below.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the specified conditions or fall outside the designated timeframe.

Criteria for Acceptance of Damaged Goods

The product must have incurred damage during manufacturing, or due to a defect.
Any damage resulting from misuse, mishandling, wear and tear or improper care is not eligible for return.
Damaged goods must be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as an order number from an online purchase or receipt.

How to report a damage

To initiate a return for damaged goods, please email our customer service team damages@hydraulicsstores.co.za within the specified three-month timeframe and include the order number or chase and please include images of the damage/defect.
Our team will assess the damage and may request additional information or evidence to validate the claim. Please note this can take up to 3 days to gather all information needed to log a damage claim. If the damage is approved, we will provide instructions for the return shipment or arrange for collection.

Resolution options

Upon receiving the returned damaged goods, we will evaluate the extent of the damage and determine the appropriate resolution.

Options may include:
Repair or replacement of the damaged item, if feasible and available. In this circumstance the item will need to be returned to us, and the item will be returned to the supplier for repair or replacement, this process can take up to 21 working days. Please note during the month of August this may be slightly delayed by a few days as suppliers offices are closed for the summer.
Refund, coupon code or store credit to the value of the purchase price, if a repair or replacement is not possible.
The chosen resolution will be communicated to the customer promptly via email.

Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning damaged goods unless otherwise specified.

Exclusions

This policy applies specifically to damaged goods and does not extend to returns for reasons unrelated to damage.
Products damaged due to customer negligence, misuse, wear and tear or improper handling are not eligible for return under this policy.

Modification of Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this damaged goods return policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
By making a purchase on our website, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined above regarding the return of damaged goods. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our customer service team at info@hydraulicsstores.co.za for assistance.

OUTLET STORE

NO EXCHANGES and NO REFUNDS will be accepted on outlet goods for any reason including size related issues.
Please refer to the delivery of goods section for more information on the delivery of outlet goods.

ORDERS OUTSIDE SOUTH AFRICA

At this time we do not offer shipping outside of South Africa.

STORE COLLECTIONS

At this time we do not offer in store collections for online orders.
In the event a store address is entered for delivery, we will contact you to change this address. Should the item be packed and collected before this is done, please note the courier fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Additionally, if a customer visits the store to collect an order for any reason, the delivery fee will not be refunded.
